About Me

Michelle LeBeau, MSW, LCSW

I am happy to call this place nestled between the mountains and the ocean my home.  The people of this community are full of resilience and I have the utmost respect and appreciation for my neighbors and colleagues. I have worked with two nonprofits in the area providing therapy for children, adolescents, and families who have experienced abuse, trauma, and/or the foster care system; as well as facilitating teen groups that center around social and emotional intelligence. I have also provided teacher and facilitator training to those working with youth. I currently work with first responders, who are referred through TCTI. Women’s and LGBTQ+ empowerment, and racial justice is a strong component of my work.

Currently in private practice, I am passionate about providing therapeutic services to culturally and socially economic diverse clients. In addition to Attachment Focused EMDR, my interventions include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness. While I have a strong connection to working with adolescents and young adults, I also appreciate being able to help people of all ages work through a transition in life or stressor that is contributing to something they want to change. Currently accepting referrals through TCTI for first responders to get free and reduced therapy.
